Os fãs da série finalmente irão desvendar todos os segredos que ficaram no ar, com a chegada a última temporada de Lost.   A história se inicia quando o vôo 815 da Oceanic Airlines, vindo de Sydney (Austrália) com destino a Los Angeles (Califórnia, EUA), cai em uma ilha no Oceano Pacífico. Nele viajavam passageiros dos Estados Unidos, Grã-Bretanha, Austrália, Iraque e Coréia do Sul. Este grupo de sobreviventes deve trabalhar em conjunto para manterem-se vivos. Sobreviver significa resolver os diversos mistérios da ilha: um monstro de fumaça, ursos polares, um homem misterioso chamado Jacob e um grupo que eles chamam de "os outros".   Os sobreviventes encontraram sinais de que outras pessoas povoaram a ilha antes deles, como um bote do século XIX chamado Rocha Negra, uma aeronave com drogas, restos de uma estátua antiga e bunkers pertencentes a um grupo de investigadores chamado "Iniciativa Dharma". Também houve um barco ancorado perto da ilha que alguns pensaram ser sua salvação, mas que acabou sendo o contrário. Nada é o que parece, o mistério e o perigo estão em todos os cantos...   O ator Matthew Fox, que interpreta Jack, assegura que os criadores de Lost, Damon Lindelof e Carlton Cuse, sabiam o percurso que a história iria tomar e que o final da série foi muito bem pensado de acordo com o que ambicionavam desde o começo. "Será um final satisfatório, libertador e bonito", segundo o próprio ator.   Fox ainda dá pistas de como a última temporada vai se desenrolar. "A sexta temporada começa com uma investigação sobre o que aconteceu logo que Juliet (Elizabeth Mitchell) aparentemente detonou a bomba de hidrogênio. Inicialmente, será muito surpreendente e confuso para a audiência", diz o ator. "Neste ano permaneceremos em um período de tempo determinado e será algo muito mais linear, pois não haverá mais flashbacks. Tudo ocorrerá na ilha com um único conflito até o final", completa Fox.
